  Lived here for 3 years. Building has no pool and the other facilities are old and worn. The fixtures in the apartments are getting old and in need of repairs. We had a bathroom pipe completely burst, flooding the whole apartment, and the toilet break several times. The gym equipment is very average and the bathrooms are quite gross. Traffic noise from the street is disruptive and can be heard from the apartments. There’s also a loading zone outside of the Wyandra St side of the building where trucks idle for long periods of time. The noise and exhaust fumes often woke me up very early in the morning. You also get all sorts of people parking there and speaking loudly enough that you can clearly hear every word from the apartment. 
  
  
  
  
  Parking in the area is a nightmare and the leaves from the trees along the road will damage your car paint if it’s left there for a couple of days. Delivery drivers also have a hard time with the building as it has two entrances and they always seem to get it wrong despite clear delivery instructions. The intercoms in the room are also extremely soft and you often don’t hear them ring and can’t hear what the person on the other end is saying. Rooms have no balconies, just a pointless shallow ledge that you can fit a few pots on at most. 
  
  
  
  
  Rent here, although slightly lower compared to other much newer apartments, is not worth the savings. You’d be better off finding somewhere else (and there are MANY options) in area and paying slightly more. 
  
  
  
  
  The worst thing about this place though is one of the Building Mangers, Ron. He would have to be the most unhelpful, unfriendly grump I’ve ever met. For someone who’s job is partially to assist residents, he does not seem willing to go out of his way for anyone. On the contrary, anyone requiring help or with a query will likely be met with resistance and rude comments. The building also seems to have a cockroach and ant problem of late. 
  
  
  
  
  I’ve now moved out of The Nouvelle to a nearby residence and my quality of life has increased considerably. I wish I’d done it sooner. I would not recommend living here at all.
